Opportunity for innovators and exhibitors to showcase products and services. There will also be briefings taking place in our Knowledge Hub with final timings to be confirmed.
There is also an opportunity for students to make poster presentations.
Further details on how to register for all site visits will be issued to our registered attendees. Spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis to our attendees.
Site Visit 1: Kenya Red Cross Warehouse complex & E-Plus Emergency Ambulance Service
KRC – visit the warehouse to see the processes and operational work of KRCS, including how aid partners are using the facilities to support programmes, and how KRCS meet their in-country needs rather than outsourcing services.
E-Plus – participants will tour the emergency response operations room and attend a briefing on the sustainable business model used to run over 120 ambulances in Kenya
Site Visit 2: ICRC Regional Medical Warehouse Complex – view the cold chain process from receipt to despatch of medical items, with a briefing from a pharmacist on how ICRC manages quality control both for in-country needs and those provided from Geneva.
